I don't know how all of these wonderful blog friends do it; posting daily or close to it, even when the holiday crush is here. I've had several good posts make their way into my mind, only to scamper away as I try to whittle the "to-do" list down to ... oh, say a couple of pages. Of course, there WAS the stomach virus that the bug hunter so thoughtfully shared after he brought it home on Thanksgiving. And then, IT allowed a friend or two to hop on and bring me a nice cold, which appears to have settled in for a nice winter visit. And then there are the room mom things, and the den leader things, and the church things, and the just plain wife and mom things... and suddenly, there's really no time to blog. None. Not even enough time to really sit down and read my favorite blogs and leave a little comment here and there. But, for now, it's all good. We finally got the tree up and got lights on it today; tomorrow night, the ornaments will be hung with care (or not; we usually break at least 2 or 3 each year). I'm headed to bed, because every day from now til a week from Thursday has something written in the little calendar square, and in some cases even the tiniest writing won't make it all fit. So, I guess I'm saying that I'll probably continue to have a "blaaaahg" for a while. Meanwhile, we'll be looking around for our elf (who poured the sugar onto my counter and made a snow angel one day last week!), making Christmas goodies, reading Christmas stories, and basking in the glow of Christmas lights. And you know what? I'm more than willing to trade out a top-notch blog for all of that! Enjoy your families and friends, and may the joy of Jesus' birth color everything you do.

Hey, Pam...yes, it is a busy time of year with all the goings-on. The only way I stay on top of my blogging is by getting up at 5:15 AM to see my oldest daughter off to school. I hit the computer as she's getting ready, otherwise, it would be very difficult.
So, just do what you can, my friend, and enjoy this wonderful, blessed season!
Yes, we missed your bug you were passing around but have someone elses. However, the "crud" I got the day I arrived in Georgia on Nov. 23rd that rendered me voiceless on the 30th is still hanging on.
I enjoyed your blog entry! Hey, it is far more important to be a great mom than a frequent blogger, but somehow you seem to do both extremely well and with such ease!
