I'm in the process of creating a REAL post, with words and thoughts and EVERYTHING! Hopefully no brain cells will be damaged in the making of that post; I think I smell something burning, so there could be some permanent damage! I do thank everyone who continues to visit my blog in the midst of my writer's block, induced by incredible, crazy busy-ness. But I'm still taking pictures and loving I Heart Faces, and THAT'S why I need your help right now. This week's theme is silhouettes. I read the tutorial and then ended up, without planning it, in the perfect place at the perfect time to try it out. I got some great pictures, and I was excited about having both a kid's AND an adult entry this time. And then, God slapped me upside the head and said "Would you PLEASE stop with the photo obsession and get back to blogging?" And to make a point, He crunched the time for Amy and Angie, and they ended up limiting us to ONE entry this week, be it kid or adult. Pffft... i cannot decide. Help me... please! (well, up to the point of arriving on my doorstep en masse to do a photo intervention). I'm posting my kid and adult entries; could you let me know which you like best? I LOVE the bokah in the adult pic; it's really nice. But, I also love the Bug Hunter, especially since his bug net actually ended up as part of the picture. I'll most likely get this blown up and framed; it's so "him" that I almost can't stand it. And I have two versions of it; one tinted and one not. So.. any and all help would be appreciated... and while you help me figure that out, I'll be working on an actual post with cohesive thoughts and a real point! Thankyouverymuch.. over and out.
Wait.. not quite yet... ! FYI, I have a couple of layers on my blog that end up muddying the colors in my pictures. To see them well, click on each photo and you'll be able to see it larger and clearer. Because I just know that you have NOTHING better to do with you time than to spend hours gazing at my pictures, right? If it makes you feel any better, I really, REALLY appreciate your help! Now, Seacrest out.. for real!

I like all three of these a lot, but I have to say, I LOVE the third one. That one of bug hunter is just right on. I love the net in it, it is just too perfect.
I'm working on mine right now. After looking at these, I would say I have a lot of work to do.
The third one of bug hunter with the net is beyond awesome sweetie, love you my friend.
I like both versions of bug hunter, i was goign to say i liked the first one (then I read other resonses!! :)) but i do like them both, i guess i liked the softness of the first one better! GOOD LUCK!! i found some that i have to choose between from our trip to florida!
I like the 3rd one best, I like the color best. His net just makes the picture. I've really struggled with the theme this week. I live in the mountians, it's really hard to get this kind of picture. Yesterday I drove to the top of a mountian on airport road and finally got a few pictures. I like the adult one to, but the one of Bug turned out perfect.....
wow. Difficult choice. I say go with the Bug Hunter #2. I love the way the sun brightly backlights him, as if he is surrounded by God during a private conversation with Him. I also love the clarity of definition of his features/outline.
Okay. Assignment finished as requested. I particularly like the way you blackmailed us into posting our opinions by offering the promise of a real update. You cast the bait, and I bit like a hungry trout.
I like the last one!!
I'm officially going against the tide and voting for the middle photo - the 1st one of Bug Hunter! All truly are awesome; but that was the one that caught me the most. Looking forward to your "real post!" ;)
I'm still laughing at Sue's comment - and I agree!
I am nothing but a follower here... but at least I had my choice picked out before I saw the comments :) I love that last one of Bug Hunter. Just really stunning composition!
(by the way - I have a new trick about posting photos and keeping them nice and sharp on the screen - have you tried Windows Live Writer? Paige turned me on to it and I was blown away!)
another by the way - love your new blog layout!
Happy Memorial Day! God Bless our troops!
oh I am just so impressed with your pictures!!! I love them all but the adult entry is for sure my favorite!
I like the last on e- but I have not clue on these - this is the first time I ever tired to do silhouettes!
