A Contest Where Everybody Wins

Update: I won the contest!!! Pshew... that's amazing! I really am excited, just because I know that if the book could motivate Becca and Adam in the way that it did, it's something I NEED to read. And as much as I loved their video clip, I know I'll love the DVD, too! I'm hoping that I can actually meet up with Becca so that she doesn't have to mail them; I promise I'll bring my camera if we get to meet! (I have a 50mm 1.4 lens ordered and on the way, so she better bring that adorable Jayci so I can try it out!) Woo hoo! :<)

Before you get your hopes up, no, it's not me that's having a contest. I've considered it, and I may do it someday, but not yet. I do, however, love OTHER people's contests, and this is one I want everyone to know about.
I came across Becca at The Stanley Clan through I Heart Faces, and I loved her photography, especially of kids. Especially of HER kid, an adorable baby girl named Jayci. But while poking around her blog one day after going there to see her contest entry (because I'm nosy that way), I began to read her posts. First of all, I realized that she actually lives fairly close to me, in a nearby city. Then, I began to see a heart about as big as all of Atlanta, and a young woman who doesn't just step outside of her comfort zone on a daily basis, she blows past it like it isn't even there. She and her husband Adam started out by working as counselors at a camp for inner city kids in the summer. Adam is in the process of making it a full-time occupation. They are, in a word, amazing. "Love your neighbor"... "Good Samaritan".. "hands and feet of Jesus".. "Jesus with skin on"... that's them. I love reading Becca's updates and watching what God is doing through her sweet family.
As I'm sure you've guessed by now, the contest is at her blog. She's giving away a book called "The Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne (it's what inspired her and Adam to start working at the summer camp in the first place), and a copy of Broken Voices' full-length movie, Anthem.
