I Heart Faces-Week 27-Sports in Action and Pets

I haven't played along in a couple of weeks at I Heart Faces, and I feel bad. I mean, it's almost like family over there now, and I miss my friends. But sports? It's just not our thing over here, unless bug wrangling counts. I'm entering a pic I took of Bug Hunter's best school buddy, playing shortstop during his first game of spring ball. But, there are no faces readily showing, so it really doesn't work too well for the contest. It's all I have over here, though, so it'll have to do.

For the Pet category, I have lots of funky and crazy choices, but I'm going traditional this time. I took this pic yesterday; sweet dog nose that I love to smooch. We do love our Blackie girl, and I think this pic captures her essence. The best way to view this is to click it; I downsized it for the blog but it still shows up better once you click and enlarge. Someday I think I'll start a blog just for photos, without the muddled background and using a program that will let me display larger pics. Anyway, this is our girl, and we love her!

And from here, you know the routine: head on over to I Heart Faces to see some really GOOD stuff! But not before you leave me a little love.. OK?

LOVE your sports AND pets shots. I am working on mine now. Just hopped over from Mr. Daddy's LOVELY bday announcement for you, and had to say Happy 29th (ahem) Birthday! He sure is something else!

Love that first shot - and we are praying Itty Bit chooses to stick with baseball... it's not as much of a contact sport as some of the others, eh? What on earth am I gonna do if he begs to play football??? (Kidney stuff and all?)

And I adore your Blackie. I can see the sweetness right through the screen. Someday I gotta go kiss that nose :)

And in case you didn't hear it enough already... HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear PAM!

We have some stuff in common that's for sure! I almost posted a pic of my lab but decided on our first baby instead. Also, used my nephews catching picture for our sports theme. Great photos and nice to meet ya!

I think the pix are great. And don't discount the sports one. I'm sure there is or will soon be a blog entitled "I Heart Butts," and this one will win by the seat of its (their) pants! (Butt I digress.)

Happy Birthday (again)! Thirty nine becomes you.

Such a cute dog. My little girl is pointing at him right now and telling me how cute he is.

Great action shot. By the way, I think you mean to say he is playing catcher and not shortstop. I get positions mixed up all the time.

Annette, you're right! I put up this post at 1:30 at night, and obviously my brain had already gone to bed! And obviously, my boy doesn't play ball, or I'd KNOW the difference! I think I was thinking "backstop" and that turned into "shortstop". Yeah, he's playing catcher. *sigh*

Such a sweet girl!! Our dogs just make our hearts happy, don't they? I remembered that a while back you asked for my address - sorry I forgot to get it to you...but I will email it today.

By the way - just loving that picture of your boy as a human bird feeder!! That has to be worth a prize somewhere!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I was gonna make a crack about the shortstop comment, but then I thought I'd give you a break and just attribute it to a senile moment???????? *snicker*

Hope you are having a great day

Aww, cute doggie! Both are very good shots! We don't have many sporting events either, since my boys are just 5 and 2, so I had to stretch the theme a bit to include boogie boarding, hee hee! Apparently it's your birthday... hope it is the best one ever! :)

I was wondering if you'd try to pass off bug wrangling as a sport! :)

BTW, if you do change your blog format, there are free photoblog templates out there. Combine that with LiveWriter (which makes resizing pictures a breeze), and you'll be blogging easy-peasy!
