But wait... there's more

The big sweet brown guy is not the only horse at the end of the street. Oh, no.. there are a host of carrot chompers down there. Today, we went through an entire 5 pound bag of carrots in maybe 30 minutes.

And it only took that long because there might have been some of this going on:

Mr. Ed would like to take a moment to express his opinion about that:

He apparently made a pretty good case for himself:

"See? It pays to speak up!"

Okay - give me a second to chew you out for not having posted a million horse pictures on your blog before - because I am EATING THEM UP!

We go through a lot of carrots too - and even have a special whistle so the horses know to come running.

And I am one of those bad horse owners who taught her girl to take a BABY carrot from my mouth. I can't figure out why Mr. Daddy has a problem with it. Want a smooch honey?

Sooo... does that mean your Bug Hunter will become a Junior Rodeo Wrangler soon? Any chance you guys could get some saddle time with these pretty equine friends???

Horses are such peaceful creatures, I used to have a few in my yard in NC. They were the neighbors but were always welcome at my patch of green

I love these pictures so much. Horses are beautiful creatures, aren't they? I am so glad you can do such a fun activity. Adam is so sweet. I love his haircut. And that picture just melts my heart.

I love this picture series. Totally adorable. Do you scrapbook? I saw the cutest paper printed with carrots that would be great for these photos!
