A New Member of the Family

Look at those faces! Yes, we finally got a puppy, and yes, she has the same markings as Bash. I always said that if I got another cat, it would be a tuxedo like Bash. I didn't realize we could get a tuxedo DOG until we saw this cute girl at Petsmart on March 1. She instantly won over our hearts, and we couldn't have been more fortunate in letting her choose us as her new family. Her name is Blackie (yes, Adam named her; why do you ask?), and she is smart, sweet, and such a lovely little lady. I do miss my Bash (especially now that we've had to resort to putting mouse traps out in the basement, and the chipmunks seem to be sticking their little tongues out at me as they cheerfully dig new tunnel entrances in the lawn). But, I think we ended up with the perfect furry family member and companion, and we couldn't be happier! Welcome to the family, Blackie-Sue!
