Facebook, "Crackwords", and the "Bonnas"

I think I am officially becoming a Facebook junkie. It is so easy to keep up with people that I would otherwise never hear from. It's also easy to lose HOURS of time keeping up with them! I think I may have to set the same kind of time limits on my Facebook time as I do on the bug hunter's TV time. Fair IS fair, after all. One of the very worst time-sucking apps to be found is Pathwords, or "Crackwords", as it is more popularly known. It's sort of like a computer-generated Boggle, but the worst thing is that anyone on your Friends list who plays it shows up on a list of best to worst scores. I find myself competing as if there's a trophy, or even money at stake. Really, I've had to limit myself to no more than 2-3 games a day, because each game is 5 minutes long. And if you convince yourself to "just play one more game" several times, suddenly the clock hands have jumped ahead a whole hour!
The other thing that has taken up some time in the past couple of days has been a new group I've joined, "I grew up in the BONNA's". Every street in my subdivision started with Bonna; Bonnafield, Bonnavue, Bonnafair, etc., with the exception of Plantation and Jacksonian, which cut N-S and E-W lines through the subdivision. I know the UPS man must have HATED having to make a delivery there; you could get so turned around that you might feel like you'd never get out. The Facebook group is great; as people are joining, they're posting pictures and sharing memories, and there are links to groups for my elementary and high school, as well. Now all I need is a Wii Fit to get my exercise, and all my social and physical needs will be met without even leaving the house! Just kiddin.... mostly.
Update: I have this on my list of blogs, but really, you HAVE to visit this blog if you want some really good laughs along with some pretty good insight on being a Christian. And, the updates usually aren't real lengthy, which leaves more time for Pathwords, so bonus!

I dare not even look into joining Facebook...this blogging stuff takes up enough of my time as it is! Plus, Brittany would cringe at the very thought of me entering her "world". TEENAGERS! :)

Have a wonderful Tuesday!!!

I'm right there with you - needing a time limit on my computer...and blogging is obsessive enough. I can't imagine Facebook, too. Glad you're enjoying meeting old friends.
