I've just been crowned with the Queen of All Things Awe-summ award.. from Pam at You're Gonna Miss This. Pam is an absolutely AWE-SUMM mom of 6 kids, and I love her heart (and her blog!). And to be totally real, this is hard for me. I am not a "pat myself on the back" kind of person, although I'll gladly pat YOUR back all day long! If this award asked me to pick out 7 flaws? No problem, other than stopping at 7. So, let me think.. what makes me "awe-summ"?

1. I like to lend a helping hand whenever I can.

2. I have a good sense of humor; sometimes over the top. I can defnitely laugh at myself!

3. I like to cook and try new things.

4. I like to write.

5. I love photography.

6. I can pick up a snake, lizard, or bug without freaking out.

7. I truly believe in God, His Word, and the power of prayer. And I am filled with gratitude for the gift of His Son, salvation, and grace.

Whew; that wasn't so bad, was it? Oh, who am I kidding? I feel a little funny blowing my own horn. I look terrible in a tiara, and I've NEVER mastered that "wave" that queens and princesses have to do. But it's still kind of nice to build myself up instead of tearing down. So, Pam, thanks for the award! As for whom I bestow it upon? ALL of you... I cannot choose. It's been stressful enough coming up with 7 things; to have to choose just 7 people out of my blog list?
