Why You Should Never Stop at an Army Navy Surplus Store (or, I Heart Faces-Lets Hear it For the Boys!)

Need I say more? Actually, I'm updating this as my I Heart Faces entry this week; when I posted this pic, I didn't fully remember the theme. "Let's hear it for the boys"... ? Ummm, can you GET any more boy than this? Honestly.. I have about a hundred options, with the Bug Hunter, the Scouts, and all of our creek activities. But this is essence of boy, distilled into a vintage gas mask and WWII metal helmet. As dear Becky noted, the Bug Hunter has finally, simply, become The Bug. When he's a top secret operative for Special Forces someday, perhaps that can be his codename. Til then, this is what I got. Boy, meet world. World... look out!

And from here, head on over to I Heart Faces for more great guy pics. Hmmm, this week could really be fun!

Great pix!

In response to your question in my guest book: I'm right where you left me ("you left me" being the operative phrase). I checked in with you this morning and it was still I Heart Faces. Still thought you were MIA.

Now, from the photo, I can see you were in the thick of the war.

This is fun! He does look like "The Bug" which is so appropriate! :) Making it sepia toned really adds to the feel!

I love this and the title cracked me up! This should definitely be a contender - it's so original, and I adore the sepia tones. BTW, I just FINALLY mailed you off a package today (with a couple of goodies for Bug Hunter - I hope they'll be easy to distinguish from the rest!). Sorry it took so long - hope you like!
