My hometown...

I love me some Nashville; born and raised there, and I visit my mom several times a year. My heart breaks over the devastation, but I know, without a doubt, that she will rise up even more vibrant than before.

Wow. We hear the news reports here but the photos and vidoes like these are so sobering. Certainly will be praying - my best friend is also in Nashville:)

Hope that your mother is safe and "dry".... Take care, friend.

Hey P2- Yes, we will rise again and all will be fine. Our hearts will be heavy and we will never forget what in my life time, we have never seen before. I rode around today, downtown and out around the lakes......your mouth drops open and you just shake your head. Its all so unreal and hard to really take in. For all the bloggers out there that was here for the blog thing a few months back....you would not believe it.
1st, Broadway and 2nd under water. As well as the conservatories at Gaylord Hotel.....6 feet or more of water in them. Pray for Nashville, for the ones that lost everything and for the ones that lost the love ones. Thanks for the post P2....we will recover.

we'll get er' back up and running soon enough. Please let me know if your momma needs anything. Thanks for posting this. Nothing seems to be more resilient than the hearts of these southern folks. I could hug them all.

It looks terrible....And being from the PNW believe me we know all about the rain....

take care my friend.

Wow - such a tragic terrible thing to have happened. I'm really surprised that there isn't more about this on the news. I hope your Mom stays safe!

So, so sorry. I remember how comforted I felt last January as I watched the water rise into our backyard and I stayed online with my little circle of friends (while those redneck boys "went fishing" with bb guns out of boats in my side yard, UGH)

Why isn't this on the news?!?
