Quote of the Day

This is short but sweet... I originally posted this in November of last year. With all that I need to do today, it will have to suffice for a True Story. I'm betting that after 5 days in Florida, I'll come back with a nice fresh one for next week! Blessings~ Pam

I saw this on another site and had to grab it, because I JUST went through this very experience today:

Anyone who believes the competitive spirit in America is dead has never been in a supermarket when the cashier opens another checkout line.

Um, yeah... and the competition can be pretty stiff, even when she's in her 70's and wearing old lady shoes and a flowery housedress! And what was even more embarassing was the fact that I left the parking lot before her, and we took different exits (because MY way is faster, right?). And as I sat at a stop sign, waiting to turn left onto a main road, Granny cruised by in her white pickup truck. I swear I saw her smirk....
