I've enjoyed posts by several of my bloggy friends who are participating in the I Heart Faces contest each week. A theme is chosen, and you select a photo in either kids or adults category of a face that matches the theme for the week. This week's theme is "wonder", and I have a picture that, to me, really shows that emotion. It was taken when my son, the bug hunter, was 6 years old, and we were visiting the Nashville zoo with his nana. All of these huge, exotic animals around, and what captivated him the most? What else... a bug! The wonder of a child as they examine the smallest details of God's creation:

AMAZING shot! Definitely a contender if I were judging! Your story cracked me up! My mom and I took my 2 year old to the zoo last month, and halfway through the car ride, he started chanting "I wanna see da bugs." He didn't stop until we finally got to the bug house. Crocodiles, flamingos, turtles that we stopped to view on our way were uninteresting to him. We couldn't get him to the bugs fast enough! Boys are funny like that I guess!

Even though the bug thoroughly creeps me out (I know you are so surprised), this is a such an awesome picture. You are such a talented person. Course your subject is pretty cute too.
