I love reading other people's blogs. I've made new friends, learned a lot more about old ones, found new recipes, toured far-away places, ooohed and ahhhhed over incredible photos, and SO much more. But one of the reasons that blogging has become a favorite pastime is reading the posts that share peoples' walk with Christ, along with their sometimes eye-opening insights. This post blew me away when I read it yesterday. I've actually had the pleasure of meeting Mamasita when we got together with the Smith family back in February. We discovered a shared first name, church heritage, and many other ties, as well. I love reading her blog (WHEN she posts... yes, dear friend, when you read this.. you NEED to write more often!!). But the post I'm sending you to read is an epiphany of her daughter's that she shared. It is so simple, so basic.. and yet I just never put 2 and 2 together in quite that way before. But now? Ahhh... it's all clear to me now. So go.. see for yourself. And then come back and tell me what you think.

Awesome.
I first heard about replacing God with Love in the Word years ago during my struggle/growth/wonder at being a Jew who loved Christ. I watched a lot of television ministries, devouring every morsel of wisdom that longtime Christians imparted to help me make more meaningful connections in my journey. Kenneth Copeland was the first (I heard) to suggest replacing the word Love for God while reading the Bible.
He has been in ministry for many years. And, yet, here is this young woman, a teenager, who made the connection for herself at such a tender age during such a tender walk.
I just love when God shares His wisdom, Truth, and revelations with more than one person...who are more than one type, or age, or gender...who are various stages of their walks.
I'm so glad you shared Pam E's post so that it reaches a larger audience. Truth need to inspire and the way to do that is to share it.
Thanks, Pam D!
A beautiful post and lesson. Thank you for sharing it. Such a great reminder at how personal God is in His love for us.
