I Heart Faces wants a messy picture this week. Boy, is THAT easy! Right before school started last August, we had rain, and the neighbors ended up with a big mud puddle next to their driveway. The bug hunter started to play in it, and since he IS wash and wear, I didn't stop him. Then, the girls got into the act, and it just ended up being one big, muddy mess. But, it wasn't anything that a hose and a towel couldn't take care of, and it was FUN!
I feel sure that there will be some AWESOME submissions for this one, so be sure to head over to I Heart Faces and check out the other entries! And never forget--no matter how messy our lives are, God loves us anyway....

Wow, Pam...that is definitely MESSY!!! I bet he had the best time! Great shot!
That's got to be a neat freaks worst nightmare! Nevertheless, it's still a great moment to look back on.
What a mess! What did he get into?? He sure looks proud of himself!
What a cutie! Errr, I mean, what a virile, handsome young man (he looks old enough to read, so i don't think "cutie" is something he would appreciate from a stranger). And what a good mom to allow him the freedom to explore and have fun even in the middle of mud. I have all girls and cringe at the thought.
Pam, you are so right when you say that God loves us even when things get messy in our lives. In fact, I think that's when He is able to do His best work. I have found the so-called messes in my life to be opportunities to grow. My motto is: If there weren't imperfections, there wouldn't be room to improve.
I like improving. It always gives me a glimpse of a higher good.
:-)
Oh my goodness. That is one messy face!!
Love it, I think I will have to join in this one.
That is a great picture! He looks like he is reveling in all that mud! :) Best of luck in the contest!
Oh how I love this shot. To cute. He was being a boy for sure with that muddy messy face. Funny how boys love that stuff!
What a fun mom you must be!! I have to admit, I don't think I ever allowed my children to play in the mud...what a bummer!
now that is truly a mess. fun entry!
Oh my goodness gracious : ). Is that ever messy. It almost looks like a fancy facial mud mask : ). He is adorable. I love his happy smile! It's contagious!
One of the messier photos I've seen for the contest! His expression says it all!
I love it! I used to know whether my son had had a good day by the amount of dirt on his body. The dirtier the boy, the better the day!
