I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
He set my feet on a ROCK and gave me a firm place to stand. Psalm 40:1-2
For more of the Word, illustrated in picture form, be sure to stop by the 160 Acre Woods to see what Amy Deanne and the rest of WFW gang have come up with. There are some really talented people who participate in WFW, and I LOVE looking at their creations. I know you will, too! Happy Wednesday...

Boys and mud... they go together. I love that picture. Great WFW!
He has done such an amazing thing for us! What a wonderful God..
Blessings and I hope you rinsed that boy off with a hose before he came in :0)
Beyond awesome WFW.
That's what my kids look like when the rains finally come here in Uganda. They LOVE to play in the mud. Funny how, as children, playing in the mud is great fun. But when our lives become muddy (as they all do) we need a Savior to lift us up and put us on His rock. Thank God He does! Happy WFW!
I love how you've made the Scripture come to life! So, just how long did it take to get all that mud washed off? ;)

One of my favorite Psalms. Love the pics! Happy WFW!

DEAR PAM,
I AM NEW TO YOUR BLOG
A PICTURE IS WORTH A 1,000 WORDS AND ALTHOUGH THE PICTURE OF YOUR SON IN THE MUD IS FUNNY, THE LORD WILL DIRECT THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO VIEW YOUR BLOG AND THROUGH THAT PICTURE GOD'S WORD WILL COME ALIVE
BLESSINGS
debbie
Your photos SURE DO GO with the verse!! Well done!!
Love the pic!
I love the fact also that you let your son be a kid and get dirty. So many kids these days don't play outside. For me, that is one of the places I feel closest to God. When I am surrounded by all of the things that HE made, it makes him seem so much more tangible.
Awesome!
Wow...now that is a boy playing in the mud...or a great facial!smile!
