If you give a boy some snow.....

he's going to want to play in it.

And if it keeps on snowing....

he'll want to build a snowman.
And if the snowman is finished and it's still snowing....

he'll want to find some friends to play with.

And when he's played with those friends SO long that his brain freezes over?

he just might turn into a monkey!

But when his fingers and toes are FINALLY as frozen as his brain and his nose.. what will that boy want?

Why, hot chocolate with whipped cream and a cherry on top, of course!

Brought to you courtesy of the fastest moving snowstorm known to man! Blew into town at about 11:00 a.m. and was already melted away by 6:00 p.m. With probably about 3 inches of snow in between! We really did want some snow this winter, and this was perfect.. thank you, God!

I will have to have you make me some hot chocolate sometime =) Looks like he had some good fun. Our snow was more slush than anything =( only Steven played in it and not for very long.

Cute! I have always loved those "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie..." books. We are getting snow right now! School has already been called off for tomorrow so I am hoping the kids will get to have some fun!

I lived in the Chicago area for 55 years and can honestly say I have never seen a square snowman before! What a hoot.

I'm so glad your son had the opportunity to enjoy another of God's miracles...the no-two-are-alike snowflake. Driving in rush hour traffic, shoveling a circular driveway, and defensively swerving out of the way of timid drivers did not always make me think of the God in the snow, but memories are sharper than the reality because they recall squeals of laughter, running leaps into mounds of the white stuff, frozen forts built to hide in, and the joy of hot soup or chile waiting on the stove.

Sometimes Arizona just isn't any fun at all! And then I remember: It's March 2nd, and the temp is rising to 89 degrees.

I guess there's an upside and a downside in all things. Good thing God is in both sides!

Wasn't that the best thing to hit our area in a LONG time??? My girls were so excited...no school today! May not have stayed around long, but it sure was pretty! Great pics!

Looks like your boy had a grand time, for sure!! Have fun yourself -

Fun pictures! Come on up to Ohio, you'll get all the snow you want, and then some. And then some more , and more, etc. etc.
