Have you ever judged a book by it's cover?

Because, if you have (and I am guilty as charged).. then you NEED to go HERE right now. Go... and perhaps.. we'll learn to look beneath the surface BEFORE we make up our minds. You can thank me later.

Wow, I feel like I just got smacked on the hand for doing something I shouldn't, like judging someone, hmmmm. That was great!!!

That lady has been all over the Internet! You know, when I first saw here, I thought there is no way she can sing. BUT...when she started to sing, it was like the doors of Heaven opened! Talk about some serious talent! I, actually, got tears in my eyes just listening to her! Definitely never good to judge someone, but particularly on face value alone.

Oh, I saw this a few days ago on the news and was enchanted. There was this mercurial spirit in her before she even opened her mouth. You could sense a loveliness about her.

I know I was "expected" to be shocked by her appearance and by the voice that sprang forth from her...but, I wasn't. I really, really focused on her features while she was standing there, and I thought that she had lovely features (well, that, and I thought that if she plucked her eyebrows, her softer features would be more prominent--so, you see, I am all too human).

I think what I loved (almost) best about this was the angelic look on Simon Cowell's face as he watched and listened. I remember in a past season seeing that look again when he listened to Paul Potts sing as well.

God plants loveliness in each of us. I think we really glorify Him when we insist on finding it.

Mr. Daddy and I have been watching this over and over again for the last few days. Simply amazing. (It's got to be if a deaf person says so, right?)

Such a lesson there, eh?

This is so beautiful. I have seen this the last few days but have not taken the time to hit my volume and listen. Thank you so much for posting that. What a remarkable lesson that is. What a beautiful and inspiring voice,it really brought tears to my eyes.

I have seen this, I have seen the faces of the judges and crowd before she started to sing...and yes, she was judge by her looks and the way she handled herself with her jokes. I also saw how the faces of the judges and the crowd changed the minute she opened her mouth and the first note came out. This woman is blessed with an awesome voice, attitude and sweetness about her. Yes, we all should be more careful about judging that book by its cover. Thanks Pam.
