There's a new blog in town....

and it's mine! I won't stop posting here; this is still my primary blog and the one that I'm using to document our life so that Bug Hunter has something tangible to flesh out his memories. But I'm on the horns of a dilemma, and I feel like one of those idiots in Spain who gets chased by the bulls. Let me tell ya.. those horns hurt! Actually, I've painted myself into a corner in terms of radically changing the look/function of this blog. I put a "skin" on it months ago, the black water drip, and I liked it at the time. But it isn't just a simple bit of code; I actually had to change ALL of the blog code to add the skin. Since then, I've gone in and edited the HTML in order to put up my own header and do a few other things. And, I've added the simple blog makeovers on top of the black skin to spice it up. But I've come to realize that my pictures get distorted by the water drip, and they're washed out. And I can't remove the skin without removing my header, and who knows HOW I did that in the first place, and I just don't want to totally mess up Life by the Creek. So, I've now started Life by the Creek2 as purely a photoblog. I'll do my I Heart Faces posts over there, along with anything else photo-related. It's still a newborn, but I LOVE the way my pictures look over there. So, whenever you have a spare moment, jump on over to Life by the Creek2 and meet the newest member of my family (because really, these blogs take on a life of their own, don't they? And they can be every bit as demanding as a child...). Thanks, friends!
