This week, I Heart Faces has a category for pets. I was going to put a picture of ChAce, the gecko, in as a entry, but then I remembered the pictures I took of Bug Hunter and Blackie in the leaves in the fall. I've always shown and printed them in black and white, but I thought I'd put this one up in color. I love the looks on their faces... best friends forever!

Funny thing about the kids you love...put them in a picture with anything and suddenly filters and styles and photography tricks simply don't matter.

Love the pic! I like the leopard gecko one also. In another "we are long lost twins" twist, we used to have a leopard gecko female. Then someone gave us a male. Then we had 2 baby gecko-ettes. Alas, by now they have all passed.
Sorry I have not posted on my blog or commented on anyone else's lately. I have developed a slight phobia about posting anything. Not sure what. I think I am just becoming a little stranger in my old age.
I suffer with depression sometimes too. I posted on it awhile back, actually several times. If you want to look through those posts, they are in April and August of 2008 and January 12 of 2009. Maybe we can commiserate.
It is amazing how similar we are. A little spooky sometimes, but in a good way. :-)

I like this in color myself. The fall colors are beautiful and the contemplative, quiet pose of the boy and his dog is so sweet. Very nice!

Itty Bit can't get the in-laws dog to calm down around him, so there's never a sweet photo op like that. Great entry!
