Stellan's Name Gallery

I know most of you who visit my blog are already praying for sweet Stellan over at MckMama's. I don't know if you've visited his name gallery, but if you haven't, you're missing out on some really neat pictures and a heart-warming experience. People from all over the world have written Stellan's name in so many creative and beautiful ways, giving a tangible and visible sign that they are praying for him and the whole MckFamily. This morning, MckMama wrote a post to let the "wolverines" (her name for the somewhat fanatical followers of her website, present company included) know that she's been receiving new pictures for Stellan's name gallery and that it's been very uplifting for her. I was reading the post while the Bug Hunter was in the office with me and started showing him some of the pictures in the gallery. Then I started musing on how we could create a "Stellan" picture of our own. When I turned around after looking at all the pictures, the Bug Hunter had already beaten me to it. Stellan, we're praying for you, buddy... for God's will to be done, and for Him to be glorified in everything that's happening right now. MckMama has witnessed to SO many people through her website, and that may be the biggest miracle of all.

Prayers for Stellan

WOW. Don't you love it when your kid thinks of something this heartwarming and sees it through to bless someone else? Just WOW.

Thanks for your commenton Itty Bit's boardwalk adventure. Too funny what you said about my voice... I sound like Minnie Mouse on it (don't we all sound like that on video?)

Have a great Sunday!

Amen, Pam. While mere mortals the world over postulate on what can bring our country, our world, together, the people have already figured it out.

What brings us together is anything that touches our hearts, that unveils our common thread, that makes us want to BE together for a higher purpose.

The Bug Hunter got it in less time than it took to finish reading the blog entry. At what, nine or ten years old, he already knows to listen to his heart and let it reach out to others.

That gives me hope for the future, knowing it will be in hands and hearts like his.

That is so sweet, Pam! Your son is awesome!

I have been deeply touched by Stellan's story and the outpouring of love and support for him and his family. There is no doubt in my mind that God is at work! I've been praying for him ever since I got the news of his situation. As we know, God is the Great Physician and He can perform miracles. We just have to keep trusting and believing! Have a blessed Sunday!

Just catching up - lovin' your Stellan photo...very creative! And wishing you all the best with the lifestyle changes...AKA recapturing the body of 10 years ago - or even 10 months ago! This aging thing can be a real downer (but not on the scales kinda way!)

Take care, friend.
